Saturday Morning Run ✔️

It wasn’t easy pulling myself out from under the covers in the nice cool house this morning but I’m so happy that I did!

Managed to get in a 5k distance this morning with 98% humidity on me the whole distance.  Ran pole-to-pole at a decent speed for three poles, then walked the distance of one.  I did this for about 70% of my time out and definitely felt a difference by doing so. 

Be sure to listen to your body when out in the Heat & Humidity and alter your workouts accordingly!

Refueling with a shake – then off to enjoy the day with the family ❤️

Pre-Memorial Day 5 Day Slim Down Challenge — Day 5 Done!

Breakfast was a shake; lunch wasn’t so good – I didn’t plan to be out shopping for HOURS with the girls this afternoon and only had an apple with me so I indulged on 6 pretzel bite pieces until we got home and I was able to have the cottage cheese w raspberries. 

Dinner was yummy kabobs with broccoli. Tonight’s workout had me sweating more than I have all week!! I did the T25 FOCUS workout — LOVE IT!!! This may need to be my next download 👍

Taking a selfie while trying to flex was probably one of the bigger challenges of the day tho – lol!!!

Pre-Memorial Day 5 Day Slim Down Challenge — Day 4 Done!

Breakfast was a No Bake Cookie Shake; Lunch was leftover Quinoa & BB salad; dinner was supposed to be the chicken asparagus wraps but it ended up just being chicken and broiled asparagus with 1/2 ear of corn on the cob (was all still very yummy). Snacks were an apple; carrots & hummus and some watermelon with the kiddies after school.  Tonight’s workout was PiYo Sweat — if you haven’t tried this one yet be sure that you do, it was a great one!!

Pre-Memorial Day 5 Day Slim Down Challenge — Day 3 Done!

Midday workout — WHAT?!?!? That was a good one!!
Breakfast was a No Bake Cookie Shake; Lunch was a very yummy Turkey Hummus Wrap; P90X – Sculpt A done!!! Dinner is either going to be left over Quinoa & BB salad or Chicken Asparagus Bundles – the girls want me to run with them later at their GOTR practice so dinner will depend on how I feel later – lol!! 

OH!!! AND I decided to weigh myself this morning — down 4 lbs since Sunday – woo-hoo!!! 💪👍😊

Had a good day today and since it’s so nice out tonight I traded in the workout for a short run through the village before it got pitch black 😊

Breakfast was an Orange / Chocolate shake; Lunch was Quinoa & BB salad; dinner was the roasted root veggies. Snacks were an apple & PB and a pear 😊

Pre-Memorial Day 5 Day Slim Down Challenge — Day 1 Done! 

Day 1 Done!! I didn’t get to shop till after lunch so breakfast & lunch were shakes, chicken stir fry for dinner, apples for snacks. Just killed the 30 mins of 21 Day Fix Extreme Cardio! 👍💪

21 Day Fix — Round One ‘done’

Finally winding down from a very busy night and no real time (or energy at this point) to work out tonight. 

Tomorrow will be another busy day with an overnight class trip with Peanuts class so….I’m just calling this round ‘done’.  I will be starting my next 21 Day Fix Challenge starting on Saturday but am not going to start counting the days till Monday. 

Unfortunately sometimes Life gets in the way of my workouts but you’ll never hear me complain about it because without the reasons behind those interruptions I’d have no “Why”

21 Day Fix Extreme – Day 19 Done!

Having an extremely independent little two year old home all day long makes for a busy but fun day! 

Still made the time to get today’s workout done before the clock hit midnight though!  Calling today day 19 – Upper Fix Extreme workout completed and kept my nutrition dialed in all day! 

In all fairness though – I am planning to repeat this challenge and up my commitment level to it.  I’m starting to see and feel some great results and can’t wait to see what round two can do for me!
