The only real positive to working out on a stationary bike for me is that I can close my eyes for the full workout without risk of falling off…. Yes, you do work other parts of your legs on the bike vs the elliptical or treadmill but the calories burned are so far less that I’m not too sure it’s really worth more than the quasi-rest.
